Q: Is there any protection that I can take so I won't be in contempt of court?
I have a business that is an LLC and I received a judgement that I would owe the other party for about 19K. I have my lawyer speak to them and tried to negotiate a payment plan but they immediately want to go after my assets. I'm not sure what to do and my lawyer practically says that we just have to let this happen. I feel that I'm not represented about what I can try to do about this judgement.
