Q: If i have a hearing already set because work comp wont let my IME dr do surgery can i change my mind?

Do you already have an attorney? If not, you can always withdraw your hearing request by notifying the judge who is assigned to your case. Work I have been on workers compensation for seven years

Unfortunately, if you were injured on the job while working for the State of Georgia, your only remedy is workers compensation. You cannot sue your employer, or the State of Georgia.
