A: Dear Sir/Madam,

Arizona's SB 1070 will give the State of Arizona the ability to prosecute individuals residing in the State of Arizona criminally if they were undocumented or had no legal status. The problem with this is that determining legal status is a very complex thing. Some people may be without legal status simply because the government has taken too long in adjudicating their papers.

The second problem with the AZ law is that it gives police the right to ask people in the street about their legal status upon "reasonable suspicion" that they are not legal. So, basically it will give the police the right to harass people of color because they are not blond. It is un-American to say the least.
