Q: Can I sue a mechanic for breech of contract?

I paid for a new engine and transmission, but my mechanic has failed to do the work or return the vehicle.

A: If you have performed your end of a contract and the other party to the contract has not, you can sue for breach of contract.

A: There is o exception for breach of contract when dealing with a mechanic. If you can substantiate that you have performed your obligations and the mechanic has not, you may sue. Good luck.

A: Yes. You need to have be able to prove your damages and also prove what the mechanic was suppose to do and that the mechanic failed to do those task.
