A: i am assuming by your question that an independent contractor working in the utility's right of way caused damage to someone or something. unless the utility company ha oversight responsibility ( usually by contract), it would probably not have liability. however it is a very fact sensitive issue. you should contact an ALA injury attorney. good luck. roll tide!
