Q: Does my neighbor have a case ?
I was walking my dog leashed. My neighbors dog unleashed started running towards us. I ran with my dog towards my house. The dog continued to run towards us and my dog bite their dog . Was on a different neighbors sidewalk. Neighbors came out to help me. Owner was no where to be seen. Got my dog off. Dog went to vet and didn't make it. Daughter of the owner was warned he is not good with most dogs. Neighbors can be witnesses owner never has dog on leash.
A: If the neighbor sues, you need to file a counterclaim. Anyone can sue. You will need your neighbors as witnesses to the event.
