Q: How long does it usually take for an offer in a lawsuit against a pharmacutical company like a risperdal claim

A: There is no short answer to your question. Depending on how far along in the pre-litigation process you are and how heavily your attorney is negotiating the claim it could take months if not years before a lawsuit is even filed (which usually occurs just before the statute of limitations runs). If you are in litigation then the timing of things still primarily depends on your lawyer. If he or she is pushing the case along very aggressively then you will likely see and offer withing a few months. If nothing is really happening with the case then the pharmaceutical company's attorney sure isn't going to press the issue because there are plenty of cases that are a higher priority.
