Q: What contract used in California to enter into nonsolicitation/noncompete when those contracts are unenforceable in CA?

A: There is no specific contract it is terms placed in the contract...for instance someone agrees not to directly or indirectly contact, communicate with a certain list of people.

A: The great state of California and some other states such as ( I believe Oklahoma to name one ) do not follow the theory of "reasonableness" and invalidate all covenant not to compete clauses together. There are some very rare situations where California may hold such provisions valid, like "equity stakeholders in businesses' setting. Good luck.
