Bremerton, WA asked in Constitutional Law for Washington

Q: I am on an extension of time to complete my petition for a writ of Certiorari from jail; now free, can I still file?

Mr. Justice Kennedy granted my pro se Motion for an Extension of Time to prepare and file my petition while I was incarcerated, I timely submitted my Petition, but the Clerk determined it was incomplete relying on Rule 10 and Rule 14.1(h) for allowance of the writ if filed by Dec. 10, 2014. I was released from prison since, so am I still permitted to prosecute my petition by that date and get a review?
