Q: My father has a B1/B2 visa (citizen of India) for ten years and visited my brother in California during March-May 2013
He was given a paper I-94 at LAX on March 16, 2013. He has the immigration seal on his passport from LAX for this arrival. Unfortunately, we do not have a photocopy of the I-94 that he received at that time. He left US on May 2, 2013.
I am unable to find the record of his last visit on the CBP website. It shows his visit from 2012. I have tried every name combination.
My father is visiting again and he will be arriving at LAX on March 21 and will leave on May 2.
Is it advisable that we call (or even visit) the Deferred Inspections unit in California and get this issue rectified? I am worried about any issues at Immigration my father may have when he visits on March 21.
Thank you!
