Clarksville, MD asked in Uncategorized for Maryland

Q: Does Md homeowner have right not to allow a contractor who initially did a poor roofing job to come back to cure issues?

Did sloppy job, we feel breached contract by not removing all old tar paper to properly inspect roofing deck, shingled over decayed spot previously pointed out, installed one side of valley correct and other incorrect, many instances where did not follow mfr. install instructions, which we are concerned will either lead to leaks and/or void mfr. 30 yr. warranty down the road. Don't trust he can do right second time around and do not want back on property!
