Q: Can a 17yo parents control who shes friends with and whether or not she can see them??
Just want to know if her parent can control who she see when and where or of this is away she can gain freedom from that control without having to go through emancipation
A: Yes, the parent can control who the 17 year old sees. The 17 year old might be hard to control, however.
A: Unless the age of maturity has recently changed the answer is "yes, of course they can." The best thing she, and you, can do is wait until she is 18.
