Q: Can my ex go to jail for showing me my nude photo, then demanding I keep a secret?

My ex and I are both 30+, we broke up because he cheated. We got in an argument then he emailed me a nude screenshot he took when we were face timing a couple months back. I had no idea he took the screenshot. He then told me he would "show the world how gorgeous I was (his words)" if I didn't keep his secret (I'm assuming about the fact that he cheated on me, because he doesn't have any other serious secrets). He then emailed me two months later and said he'd never post my nude photos and he cares about me. I told him I love him and cared about him too. And we didn't talk for a year. Then a year later he texted me telling me he cares for me, and he's glad to see I'm happy. I told him I care for him too, and that I'm glad we're speaking again, and that I've been happy during the time that we weren't talking. But deep down I'm still upset, can I press charges for blackmail, and can he go to jail for it?

A: I do not understand these facts. I do not see blackmail from what you have written here. Perhaps you could be a bit more clear.
