Tavares, FL asked in Criminal Law and Family Law for Florida

Q: 1. Review your question Q: My spouse was diagnosed with Aspergers. Will I automatically receive full custody of kids

In addition to the diagnosis, he has repeatedly physically abused me in front of our children. There were never any police reports filed and the only witnesses I have are my children. Do I need to hire a specialized lawyer. What are my chances of gaining full custody?

A: There is no automatic full custody in Florida. Read the provisions of Florida Statutes 61.13(3) Yes, you need to get a family lawyer.

A: Nothing is "automatic". File your case for full custody.

Use of a lawyer is recommended.
