Q: Is there a way to expedite sponsorship for 30 yrs old special needs sister dependent on my parents?
I'm a US Citizen and planning on sponsoring my parents and sister's green card. My sister is 30 years old and special needs. The issue is that my parents will get their green card quickly in a year or two, while sister's will take 10 to 12 years and my parents are very old. They are worried about what will happen to my sister after their demise as she's totally dependent on them. I'm ready to take her responsibility but she can't stay here in USA for longer than 6 months with her current B2 visa (expiring in 2016). Is there a way for my sister to stay here in the USA with my parents when they get their green card while her green card application is pending.
A:
If you are a US citizen you can sponsor your sister directly instead of doing it through your parents. You can apply for a F4 visa which will expedite the process, since she is already in the USA. All the best.
