Q: i am lee. will my adjustment of status have a problem because i dint attend school when i came to US as F-1 student
i came in the US to study as F-1,becuase of sponsorship problem i couldnt attend school,i now have a US citizen fiance and she want us to get married. will my school have any effect on my change of status ?
A: I strongly urge the two of you to get an immigration attorney ASAP. Having entered the country on an F1, not having attended school, and now trying to adjust to permanent residence status could certainly be a problem. It is important to flesh out what this "sponsorship issue" was and how it impacted your status.
