Q: MY FRIEND GOT ME IN TROUBLE AND I NEED TO GET OUT.
MY FRIEND HOPPED IN MY CAR A LIT A JOINT! there were undercover cops right next to us and gave us both a court date.
I said guilty thinking i was going to be let off with a clean record and got the diversion program. and he got the 6 month non guilty program. U was told I can decide in 30 days whether I want to re-state my claim or take the offer. The job I just got called and said they cannot go forth with me because of my background now. I still have time to re-state my decision. Should I do that and go with the non guilty verdict so that this can be removed and I can get my job.?????? I really messed up. I was nervously thinking and I've never done this before
A: You need to speak with your own attorney about this. You have already plead guilty? That was a mistake. If you still have time to enter another plea, I suggest that you take the diversion program.
