If I allow my sister to drive my "spare vehicle" that is in my name and she has an accident involving a fatality, will I be legally/financially responsible for that in a court of law?
A: Am I to assume that your sister is covered under the insurance policy? You might want to make sure that whoever drives a vehicle of yours has full coverage insurance. In Florida, if this were to happen without her being covered, you would be responsible for damages just as much as she would be, civilly.
