Being unjustly enriched by holding funds that were never used for services! Does the consumer have a right to entitlement of their money back!

Q: What are my odds of winning in claims court for eight thousand dollars i lended out to a friend.

Five hundred of it is on a document that we had signed by a notary but the rest was in good faith. I have text messages dating back to the beginning of all these loans and two recorded messages where she admits she owes me the amount.

Hard to say definitively without additional information. Although a written contract is better for many reasons, many types of contracts in Arizona can be oral. Oral contracts can be harder to prove.

Q: Hi, I ordered a package from a small business about 3 months ago. They have refused to ship it and give a refund. Help?

The package was a small parcel package. I have been in contact with the owner of the company and they have refused to give me money back, and ship the item. I have asked for a refund several times and they don't care. Is there an law or an act that would be in my favor in order to help me?

Why not dispute the charge with your credit card? You can file a lawsuit, report them to the consumer division of the attorney general's office, ask a lawyer to send a strong letter, etc.

Q: Would I be held liable if I offered as a community service to help people do living wills

They would sign a disclaimer showing that I was not a lawyer nor was I offering legal advice etc. I would print off the living wills that were for Tennessee. They would also have to take them to get them notarized.
