Q: Hi, my friend has established a US construction company. no profit so far. Can I apply for a H1B through his company?
The company has no work so far as he did not win any contract since that time.
I have master degree in construction management from UK. I hold Jordanian citizenship.
I am doing Ph.D. at Arizona State University in Civil Engineering and the specialty is Construction Engineering.
My sister lives in AZ as well. She is a US citizen since year ago.
Can I apply to stay in US through the company or even my sister?
A: If your sister files, it will take about 11 years for a visa number to become available for you to apply for your green card. For the H-1B petition by your friend, it will be impossible to meet the "ability to pay" requirement.
A: There are questions and answers similar to your situation on our website at http://aba-us.com/other-services/?lang=en. You can take a look for additional information. Good luck.
