Chicago, IL asked in Immigration Law for Connecticut

Q: What will happen to my existing H1 Extension, when my H1 Transfer got approved, filed from another employer?

I am working for employer A and my I94 is going to expire on 13 Feb 2016. My current employer A already filed for My H1B extension which is still in process. The current status is "CASE WAS RECEIVED" . Additionally i am moving to employer B and H1 Transfer got approved today 25 Jan 2016 , filed by employer B.

Please answer my below confusion.

1) Since My H1B Transfer is approved , Now what will happen to my existing H1 Extension [filed by Employer A] and how i am going to get new I94 with extended date.

2) I am going to India in April for marriage, do i need to go for interview again for H1 Stamping , because H1 is transferred to new employer.

3) If possible, Please also provide a summary of Guidelines, which i need to take care of, while transitioning from Employer A to B.

A: This is a complex situation, you can not expect an attorney to do this for free. Incase you didn't know this is a public forum for general questions. If you have a very specific question you need to talk to an attorney in private. Or consider asking these questions to the immigration attorney who filed your H1B. All the best.
