Q: is this my fault? and i have to pay all the money? (see the detail)please answer this asap (this lady would sue me)

on 1/24/15 i was playing baseball with little kids. when kids toss snowballs i would try to hit it with my baseball bat. i heard someone was walking behind me so i hold my baseball bat like chris davis. after 30 seconds, i heard screaming from lady behind me who claim i swung baseball at her head(and there was only a little bump on her forehead). i was really mad because i was just stand there and doing nothing. anyway she called 911 and went to howard county emergency hospital to take ct scan. (she didn't even have to go to the hospital, because when paramedic arrive and exaime her wound they said she is perfectly fine). ct scan said that she is fine and she went back to work, but today she came to my apartment and claim she can't go to the work for a couple month because she have concussion.(but doctor and paramedic said she is fine and recommend her to take tylenol and advil) if i have to paid her some money can i use the liability insurance?

A: Do you have homeowners or rental insurance? That might provide you a defense and a way of making payment on any claim she makes.

Your facts do not make a ton of sense but I have a hard time imagining a ton of scenarios where you are not responsible for her injuries. Most law firms are not going to bring a claim unless insurance coverage involved. (My firm would not unless the circumstances were extreme.) But she may well find one that does not have that requirement. Good luck!
