Lebanon, PA asked in Workers' Compensation for Pennsylvania

Q: I have a shoulder injury, I suppose to off, my employer call the doctor to change work note, can they do that

I am suppose to be off by a doctor's note until one week after the surgery, this is a worker comp claim.

A: They can call and depending on what authorizations you have signed, the doctor may be permitted to talk with them; however, it is the doctor's decision whether or not he is going to change the restrictions.
