Q: Choosing a dr.
My employer is having me see a dr for my injury. I don't want workers comp. I asked them for a list of dr's and they gave it to me. They told me I must go to this one specific place. Per a Supreme Court ruling it is my decision as to which dr on the list to see. Not their choice. Correct I can choose any of the panel dr's on the list to see to satisfy them wanting me to see one of their dr's? Thank you again for the answers.
A: You are correct that you get to choose from the list. That being said, many doctors on the list may not be appropriate for your injury which can reduce the overall list to choose from. For example, you don't want to go to a podiatrist for a shoulder injury.
