Atlanta, GA asked in Immigration Law for Georgia

Q: What should I do to change from a B1 to the F1 status (check my case description for particularities).

I was issued 2 visas, a few weeks ago:

- A F1 visa for my program that starts august 22. which means I am legally not allowed to enter the US before July 23.

- But I was also granted with a B1 visa because I had vacations plans before. which allowed me to enter the US, June 20 under the B1 status.

I can't afford to leave the US to re-enter under the F1. What are my options?
