Q: I am an F1 visa holder I got arrested for obstruction of justice and resisting arrest as a second order misdemeanor

This happen in Ohio state and I have the court date on August last week and am in summer vacation in my home country returning to usa by second week of August so is there any problem with the open case in Port of entry please help me out

A: Yes, you could be arrested as there is probably a warrant for you. Hire an attorney now to see if he or she can get the warrant set aside and a court date scheduled before you return. These offense can cause all kinds of trouble with your immigration and court dates are mandatory.
