Q: immigration office did a mistake and now i have to fill more paperwork out, plus pay money for it.what can i do?

I fill the first paperwork out in 2015 for my daughter's to become resident alien.We finally got paper back to fill more paperwork out and to get an interview in Frankfurt,Germany but we live in Ohio.I called customer service to let them know that they did a mistake and all they gave me was another form to print out and pay more fees again.When i fill out the paperwork our ohio address is on it and i never mention they live in germany.I need help and dont know what to do now!

A: People applying for visas and green cards are often required to interview at the consulate in their home country. You may want to get an immigration attorney involved in this. Is your daughter legally present in the US or she somewhere else entirely? Are you even from Frankfurt? If she is here legally, you need to file to adjust her status and may be filing the wrong paperwork altogether.
