Q: what happens to my mortgage if i have to leave my home involuntarily because of a verbally abusive husband?
i am solely on the mortgage but my husband is on the deed along with me. if i have to leave because he won't give me a divorce- do i stop paying the bills? file for bankruptcy? i can't afford to live apart and to support him. i don't want to abandon my home, but i will for my sanity. can he be FORCED to leave?
