A: Maryland law provides very little job protection when it comes to workers comp cases. Unfortunately many of my clients lose their job after sustaining a work place injury. Its of no fault of their own but employers sometime take advantage of the circumstances and terminate employment. What may be availabe is vocational rehab benefits and fmla protection.
