Q: what are my rights when the owner that i am renting is in foreclosure and already had two auction dates
landlord did not tell us about foreclosure issue. she stated she didn't have to. and to pay rent still . when we got notice in default in dec stated auction date is 12/07/16 mention it to her and said still pay rent she didn't have to explain to me about the issue still. she then harassed me for rent or get out. stated she will serve me 3 day eviction notice. harassed me 4times in December asking if i have moved, did i leave yet and did you find place. there was postponed of auction for 01/04/17 and moved to 02/07/2017. she posted our issue on social media stating that she will let everyone know not rent out to me.. she then message me that she is selling the house and i need to move out by this Friday 01/06/2017. told her she cant just kick me out. she stated about the 3 day eviction notice again . i said fine if you need to but make sure its sign by judge and handed by sheriff she said she has relatives as judge and as sheriff . i did mention she cant have no relatives involved
