Canoga Park, CA asked in Domestic Violence for California

Q: Attempting to get my girlfriend out of the apartment, but if I say something she threatens me.. more details below.

Is there a way that I can get her out and give a restraining order? If I ask her to leave, she threatens to throw the cats out and break my stuff on the way out. Or, threatens to go to the police to state that I have either abused her or raped her. She's also threatened to come to my apartment and just sit outside. In other words, she won't let me leave. If I make her upset, she refuses to let me sleep. I feel stuck and I don't know what I can do. I need help getting her out of there and staying away from me. She is not a tenant, only I am on the lease. I honestly don't know where to turn at this point. I fear telling her to get out and this why I have stayed this long. She's successfully separated me from all of my friends. Thoughts.. suggestions.. I can't move just yet or I would have. I need her to go.. and to no longer contact me.. along with her family.
