Lansdowne, PA asked in Workers' Compensation for Pennsylvania

Q: Thank you,the question from the PA unemployment woman was did they lay you off or did you quit

I said really neither, that I was unable to return to work with the injury I received at work and there is no light duty and I needed surgery, she kept going back to say when you filled out your claim for payment biweekly online that I checked I am available for work,I explained to her again yes but in a very limited capacity I would be available for work since I needed knee surgery and therapy, she was very ignorant to say the least,I was being straight up honest, now they are holding my unemployment check, what is my best move here ? I feel like I'm being screwed left and right, I greatly appreciate everyones input on this board.

A: Rather than constantly asking questions about your situation on this website, I believe you would best be served by contacting an Attorney who is a Certified Specialist in Workers Compensation Law to discuss your rights and remedies.

The Initial Consultation would be Free of Charge and most Attorneys will accept your Workers Compensation Claim on a Contingent Fee basis and if you need help with Unemployment Compensation, most Attorneys will accept said case on a Flat Fee basis.
