Burlington, WI asked in Divorce, Family Law and Child Custody for Illinois

Q: I have question about my ex girlfriend breaking court order rules and being unstable

So my ex stop dating his girlfriend for a year and they recently got back together. Can I do a court order preventing her to be around my daughter or even alone with her. She blogs about suicidal thoughts and has said she hasn't cut herself in awhile. She has a personality disorder and I don't want my daughter around that. She constantly calls herself my daughter step mother, has asked her what she doing for Mother's Day for her, and states she is my daughter family. In the court order it states you can't call yourself step parent unless married or post stuff on social media which she has done a ton of times about my daughter. Also socially bullies me on social media with quotes directed at me. What can I do to have this stop, my ex refuses to stop it. Can I go for a court order

A: Contact the order of protection advocate at the courthouse to see what they think about an order of protection against her.

As to the father, if the order is being violated, you can do a contempt case.

You could also try to amend the order to try to put more restrictions as to the girl friend being around your daughter.
