Q: If my now ex-wife and I adopted a child at birth, and we divorced when he was 3, plus she just passed can I give up

A: You need to review what your divorce decree says. If you are named as the father and have an obligation to pay child support, you can't just give that up. I would suggest that you meet with an attorney and go over the facts of your case. I don't know if you are looking for someone else to adopt the child or not. There are a number of factors that you need to look at.
