Pryor, OK asked in Criminal Law for Oklahoma

Q: Hello I'm in drug court program and I was accused of committing a new felony. What can b done I'm innocent

The home I had just moved into was previously a drug users home and I know this because I found paraphernalia when I moved into the house and I got rid of it asap and thought I managed to make my new home drug free. Until I get a home visit from my compliance officers and they search and manage to find paraphernalia and a small amount of controlled drug in baggie that had to have been the last tenants that rented before me and left behind hidden up in the bathroom sink . No telling how long it had been there. Automatically I'm accused of it of course. So I tell compliance I will take hair pholicle and urine test right then on the spot and I will b clean and that it was not my drugs or paraphernalia nor did I have any knowledge of it at all and I was refused the hair pholicle and urine sample and was taken straight to jail on a new felony charge that I bonded out on 2 days later my bond was 5,000

A: There's nothing from stopping you from getting a hair follicle test right now. You can also take a lie detector test. But first of all, you need an attorney!! System will chew you up and spit you out without one--especially if you're truly innocent.
