Q: Can video proof of my daughter's father selling drugs as income be used in court to determine child support?
I have video proof (13 videos, all recorded on different days) that my daughter's father is selling drugs as income. He uses snapchat to gain clients. I also have proof that he is selling merchandise and doing club promotions as well to earn income. I just want to know if this all can be used in court to determine child support.
A:
You can use such evidence to contest child custody and visitation, which in turn may affect child support amounts. You can also submit evidence if he's failing to disclose all sources of income, as such actions are considered fraud on the court and a basis for sanctions and a crime.
