Q: Need advice. I was at the red light I waited 10 minutes until the light turn green so that I go never turned so I went

I went through the light after waiting for 10 minutes because it never did change... the police pulled me over and I explained to him that I waited for 10 minutes for the light to change... I told the officer that it was something wrong with the light.. is there any advice you could give me because I feel as if I wasn't in the wrong I waiting til there was no traffic coming from either direction to go after the 10 minutes I spent at the light

A: If the light is defective, it will likely be fixed before you can get back over there to videotape the malfunction. If you can take your video to court, most traffic court judges will cut you some slack.

Next time. Use a signal and turn right (permitted in GA), and then adjust your route as soon as you can turn around, with no chance of a ticket.
