Q: I want to runaway at 17 1/2 my parents are unfit to be parents I have a safe place to go what will happen if I leave?
I lived in vegas for 2 years and part of those 2 years I've lived with a friend for 6 months because my dad was in the hospital now I live in california with my mom who is mentally and physically abusive and I want to leave and go back with that friend everything I looked up said nothing will happen i've even talked to an police officer and he said he won't be able to do anything about it least he can do is look for me ask if I want to come back and if I say no then there's nothing he can do after that now is this true ?
