Q: My landlord if filing for bankruptcy as she just told us. How we are under a rent to own contract
We have less then 7000 to pay what will happen to our contract
A: The contract will probably be confirmed by the debtor/landlord. You didn't indicate which chapter of the bankruptcy code the landlord is filing under: it's most likely Chapter 7 or Chapter 13. But in any event you should monitor the bankruptcy case. Be sure to file a claim. Review the schedules and statements when filed to see how your claim will be handled. And attend the Section 341 meeting.
