Orlando, FL asked in Contracts for Florida

Q: Breach of contract

I recently sold a puppy to a couple that wanted to bred under conditions that I will be involved. Since then couple took the puppy to a dog park with out rabies and vaccines, when u asked if they took her to the vet they lied to me that they did. Blocked me on social media wouldn't respond to my text until I spoke to their vet to find out that they took her to the vet a week after they told me they did. I have send a text to them about my concerns of dogs welfare and breeding and their commitment. They response back to me that they no longer going to breed and dog will be fixed at 6 month, contract says otherwise if they decide not to breed the dog has to be fixed after her first heat. Are they breaching the contract , how can I enforce repossession of the puppy

A: There is no way to answer this question without reading the contract. I suggest that you take the contract to an attorney in your area for a consult. After the attorney reads your contract then that attorney can likely answer your questions.

A: It sounds as if the other party has breached the contract. But, of course, I would have to review the contract. It seems that your damages would be the contract price. Repossession of the puppy? Based upon your description, there is no puppy, so how could you repossess it? Another question to consider is how would you collect upon a judgment?
