A: You are a bit young for a lifetime commitment to another person. What about more education? Can your bf fully support both you and a child that is sure to come soon? How old is he? What kind of employment can he expect with his education? Federal law requires that you both have health insurance, do you know what it will cost? Your husband will probably feel "trapped" in a year or two, and begin to cheat on you!

Those who marry at your age are 1.5 times more likely to get divorced than those who marry at 20 and older. See also https://www.avvo.com/legal-guides/ugc/marriage-divorce-statistics for more information.

PLEASE Don't make this mistake which will cause a lifetime of misery!
