A: If you were injured at work, you can file a claim for permanet scarring with the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission if your scar is at maximum medical improvement.

A: You cannot sue the employer but you would be entitled to an award for medical expenses and for the scar through worker's comp. Get your medical records together and consult with an attorney.
