Have also had accidents at the same location) ambulance put a neck brace on me then 2troopers had me do a subrity test i did good durning the test i say many times can we do a blood or urine test so I can get on my way and go to my mom's and help her cuz she's watching my brother who is terminally ill paralyzed and my father who just had a stroke I specifically asked many times to do a blood or urine test went to the hospital did a blood test came out negative for alcohol troopers were not happy took me to jail did another blood test the Troopers took my blood that blood came out with very little of my medicine I had 7 back surgeries I took my medicine at 4 p.m. my accident was at 9 p.m. my first blood test was done about 1 in the morning my second blood test at the jail was done about 3:30am there was a very small amount of my medicine according to the Troopers blood work. I got a DWI i lost my DL i have video and u hear me saying lets do blood or urine trooper said i refused he lied

Your personal health and circumstances are unfortunate, but in no way shield a person from arrest for DWI-DUI, as you learned.
If you are destitute, and have no assets, Texas has an excellent public defender program, Contact the clerk of court, where your case is pending, and get the phone number and address, for an appointed attorney. Call ahead, for an appointment, since there may be an application fee to pay.
The driving while impaired case, overall, seems pretty decent. But, much more information is needed.
