Modesto, CA asked in Medical Malpractice, Contracts, Personal Injury and Insurance Bad Faith for California

Q: I had R knee surgery and it went. Ad within a month, broke 2 of 3 lags that held cadaver ligament and got infected

The ligament was non viable and removed.Spent 4 days in hospital after 30 days of previous surgery. Dr retired 1 month afterwards and there wasn't any type of referral. It has been almost a year and the Dr and insurance have requested 6 speciation referrals. 4 of the 6 were denied and I was. Never informed of it until I got partial records after months of request. Not 1 Dr or insurance has read or explained what happened during surgery and have flat refused to speak about it. I have requested a 2nd opinion not approved. There has been therapy requests after 6 months nevergot it Due to Drs not giving justification I need it. I recently had blood work done and met with Dr and I got B12, vitD. I got records and it was in there that my WBC IS 11000+ imposing infection never went away, I suffer from the symptoms of the side effects. I informed Dr and Ins 10 days ago and they suggested more blood work it's only been 20 days. No resolution help, or explanation. Is there laws broken?HELP

A: You need a medical malpractice attorney to review your records and consult with an expert surgeon to evaluate whether you have a case. No one can help you on the internet. Start making calls. Consultations by phone are free.

A: Contact a member of CAOC who handles medical cases --they give free consults. You can always get a second opinion if you want to pay for it but why not get the free consult first.
