Q: My son is 17, he will be 18 Dec. 7th. His girlfriend had a baby and says its his kid. Can I make them take a DNA test?
They were off ANF on with their relationship and, He ran away and is living with her and her mom because I wouldn't let him claim the child but he says its his even though she was seen with 2 other guys. I've talked to him, his girlfriend and her mom, none of them will consent to a DNA test. I just want to know if the child is biologically my grandchild.
A: He will need to file a paternity case and the court will order a test. Hire an attorney to help you.
A:
As a grandmother, you can't file any action. There's a high probability that DHS will seek child support from him. When it does, you should consult an experienced Family Law attorney for help.
