Q: Can my ex take my son back from me after allowing him to live with me after court order
The judge gave him sole custody in Illinois but four days later advised he will send my youngest son to live with me but now that lawyer knows he's trying to come take him back from me...what can I do
A: You are bound by whatever court order is in place. If you want to change the order, even by agreement, you must go to the court that issued the order to notify them of the change.
