Jacksonville, FL asked in Child Support for Florida

Q: Looking for clarification on child support/transportation meaning.

To sum it up. I was awarded time slot A. The mother was awarded time slot B. The paragraph in question states " The party beginning time-sharing with the minor child shall be responsible for the minor child's travel arrangements and costs to that Party's residence or where that Party shall be exercising time-sharing with the minor child." I read that i am responsible for picking her up and bringing her to my place of residence. Does that mean when my time slot ends, she is responsible for picking her up and bringing her back to her residence when her time slot begins? I ask because she claims her lawyer reviewed it and said "I am responsible for all the transportation between her place and mine and then back" My time slot for the weekend begin at 6pm on Friday night and end on 6pm Sunday night. I pick her up at 6pm Friday but I believe she should have to pick her up at 6pm Sunday from my residence. Looking for clarification.

A: The quoted language you provided means the person beginning timesharing does the transportation. That means when your time is done the other parent must pick up to begin their timesharing. It does not mean one parent doing both ends.
