Q: what information/evidence is required to file a wrongful death suite ?

I was driven by a friend to visit my mother at an assistant living facility at noon, lunch time in which she would be up and eating with the other people living at the residence.3 people including my mother.Upon arrival I knocked and was allowed entry from an employee,not the Owner/Operator.My mother was not having lunch with other people,in which I told them hello. I entered her bedroom .My friend and I noticed all family photos was not on her nightstand. My mother appeared to be partially covered under a blanket. When I called her name to wake her up my friend and I seen tears in her eyes and her hands tied behind her back..I had to leave immediately I was so upset and angry..I called the place and the employee informed me my mother was taken out from ambulance to Kaiser Hospital.Her personal Doctor informed me my mother Jean Y. Kaku was admitted 6 times previously for Malnutrition and informed me

A: You need to prove that some wrongful act or omission was a substantial factor in your mother's death. You also have possible claims for Elder Abuse, which can include an award of attorney fees. I would suggest that you look for a personal injury/medical malpractice/Elder Abuse attorney who can investigate the claims and advise you whether it is worth pursuing.
