Q: My father passed away due to a heart attack. I believe it could've been prevented.
When he had the heart attack he tried to contact 911 but the phone call wouldn't go through because at the time of the heart attack there was a fiber line cut so for a couple hours no one in the region was able to contact 911. I believe that if he was able to get a hold of 911 then he would've survived since he had to suffer for at least 30 minutes before getting medical attention. Should I go to court for this or would it be a weak claim?
A: No harm calling a member of the Az. Trial Lawyers Assn to see, they give free consults. There are problems showing carelessness and whether it would have made a difference. Question--did he have a cell phone and if he did would that have been effected?Get the consult and review those issues.
