Q: my husband just got news that his father passed, is there anyway w/o visa & green card can he go to Nigeria and come bk
He has residency, just do not have a visa or greencard, and it hurts me to know his father died and he can’t even go back home b/c he can’t come back to USA...so I’m here looking for answers

What status does your husband have? If he has a pending green card application he may be eligible for a travel document which can be expedited based on the emergent situation.
However, if he is in the U.S. without any status at all, there serious immigration penalties can attach upon departure.
